Orchard Road -
Singapore's "Central Shopping District", or "Central Entertainment District"!
You can probably spend several days just shopping at Orchard Road, one of the
largest shopping belts around. You can also find great entertainment and night
spots around. It is a street where all top brands are represented.

Scotts Road -
Just off Orchard Road, Scotts Road is fast developing into Singapore's other
"Central Shopping & Entertainment District". There are several nightspots
along Scotts Road, and major shopping complexes along the road. Another not
to be missed street!

Shenton Way -
"Central Business District" of Singapore. Most major Multi-National Corporations
have their office headquarters here in Shenton Way. Most if not all banks have
their head offices here too. A place where the top brass business people operate.

Marina South -
Marina South/Center boasts several top class hotels like the Oriental and Pan Pacific.
You can also find the "vertical silicon valley" Suntec City in this area. Has several
large shopping facilities (Carrefour is here too) and great eating
spots. Singapore's IDA also has its headquarters here.

City Central -
City Central is defined as the area around the boundaries of Shenton Way and
Orchard Road. It generally offers hotels which are affordable, and yet
provide top-class accommodations. Trips from this area to Shenton Way and
Orchard Road generally do not need more then 10mins.

Near City Central -
Near City Central is defined as the "outskirts" of City Central, but yet within
short distance from Shenton Way and Orchard Road. Trips to Shenton Way
and Orchard Road generally do not need

Sentosa -
Sentosa is a resort island with several theme parks, not to mention the sea. You
can take a cable car ride from Cable Car Towers (World Trade Center), or
a jetty ride (World Trade Center). Visit the Underwater World, touted as one
of the largest man-made acquarium around.

Chinatown -
Experience the culture of Singapore Chinese, who has settled in Singapore from
China. You will find good Chinese food, artifacts, antiques, paintings and
more from Chinatown. Should allocate one day to visit this area of Singapore.

Little India -
As one visitor put it - Little India in Singapore is just like visiting a street
in India, you will find shops, food stalls, temples and more when you head for
Little India. Bargains are available almost everywhere at Little India.

East Coast -
The East Coast of Singapore boast great eating places (seafood especially),
nice beaches and great seasports. Spend a day at the East Coast of Singapore
to enjoy the sun, especially if you are from a cold country.

West Coast -
The National University of Singapore, National University Hospital, World Trade
Center, the Pasir Panjang Distripark and lots more and all at the Western Side
of Singapore. While it is not really the "Tourists Spots" of Singapore, it
boasts some of the largest Singapore industrial companies at the vicinity.

Geylang -
More known for its red-light district, Geylang has developed into an area of
great food and affordable accommodations. Visit food stalls serving great
food from all parts of the world.

Joo Chiat/Changi -
Malay Village is located at this vicinity. Also boast Joo Chiat complex
where you can find bargains and nice Malay clothings. Food stalls are
available serving variety of Malay food.
